4. Give the five ways on how the teacher can employ the computer and discuss each.
     1. An information tool
        computer serves as an information because it can provide vast information in various forms, such as text, graphics, sound, and video.Even encyclopedias and encarta dictionaries are now available in the computer.
       2.A communication tool
          Computer serves as a media in terms of communication and it is a vast provider of information or in other term  computer is an access of communication.
       3.  A constructive tool
            Computer can be used for manipulating information, visualizing one's understanding and building new knowledge.
      4. As co-constructive tool
          -a tool to work cooperatively and construct a shared understanding of new knowledge.
      5. A situating tool
         -by means of virtual reality (RS) extension system, the computer can create 3-D images on display to give the user the feeling that are situated in a virtual environment.

2. What is CAI? (Please give its background.)

 Ans.CAI is Computer-assisted Instruction which means that computers can be a tutor in integrating learning to the students. This gives the teacher a convenient work in terms of imparting knowledge to the learners. It assumes certain roles previously assigned to teachers who now has to take the new role of facilitator and guide.3. Give 5 examples of communication media.

Ans. 1. adobe photoshop
            Adobe Photoshop is the primer graphic and photo editing program used by almost all professionals.   Photoshop allows all formats of images, such as GIF, JPG, PCX, BMP and many more images, to be imported and edited, customized or changed into almost anything imaginable.         2. comm central
            Comm Central is a program that allows a user to send and receive faxes as well as have the capability of receiving voice mail on their personal computer.
Comm Central is found on certain models of Packard Bell and Ready personal computers.
         3. Real player
RealPlayer was one of the first widely available streaming audio players available over the Internet. Originally called RealAudio, the user had the capability of listening to live audio over the Internet without having to spend several hours downloading. After the popularity with RealAudio, RealPlayer was released with RealPlayer; the user was not only able to listen to streaming audio but now also streaming video. Because of the high demands of audio and video, the streaming video does have its problems for slower connections or for times of high traffic. However, overall with a 28.8 connection the video is ok for the time it requires to get it.
      4. ICQ
        ICQ is an Instant Messenger that allows you to quickly send messages to one or multiple users. The above illustration is an example of what ICQ's interface looks like. ICQ is a very simple to use application that allows members to send messages, URLs, images, and files to other ICQ member.

         -Is a spreadsheet that can easily use..there are many uses of these...
